Welcome to my first PIDP 3250 post regarding Instructional Strategies in adult education. The first two weeks have been humbling! Teaching adults (well) is far more complicated than simply holding students’ attention long enough to force-feed them the information. Yes, I have to admit I sort of saw it that way. I’m grateful for the excellent resources and discussions provided by Doug Mauger and my fellow students. My eyes have been opened and I’m ready for some serious meta-cognition.
Also, please have a look at these excellent blogs by some of the other PIDP 3250 students. This is a diverse, engaged bunch!
